CELEBRATE THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE IN CARNABY

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, visitors to Carnaby can enjoy a line up of fun Jubilee inspired activations from Thursday 2 June and across the weekend including live music performances from an strolling brass band, glitter makeovers fit for a queen, cupcake giveaways with Crumbs & Doilies and a Jubilee themed snow cone giveaway with Kua’ Aina. Why not grab yourself a takeaway and eat at one of Carnaby’s picnic tables while taking in the atmosphere.

To celebrate the momentous occasion Carnaby has created 1,000 limited edition Jubilee tote bags to be given out over the Jubilee weekend. As a special treat, 70 of the tote bags will be filled with exciting products from Carnaby brands Pixi, Just Hype, Sweaty Betty, Too Faced, PURE, Aubin, Kaleido Rolls, Pepe Jeans, Dishoom, MÜHLE and MAC making this a Jubilee goodie bag fit for a Queen!

The renowned Carnaby shimmer arch is back with a fitting makeover for this year’s celebrations. Bookending both ends of the street the brand new silver shimmer disk, ‘Carnaby Jubilee 2022’ arches sit alongside a shiny new crown installation which glitters above the Union Flag on the junction of Carnaby Street and Ganton Street. Kingly Street, Newburgh Street and Foubert’s Place festoon lights along with the giant bulbs on Ganton Street will be illuminated in red white and blue, in honour of the festivities.

Carnaby’s exciting shops, restaurants and bars will also be hosting a series of promotions, in-store activations, products and special menus throughout the whole weekend.

Head to Aubin, Too Faced, GANNI and Metal Morphosis for an exciting gift with purchase. Discover discounts in Just Hype, Replay, KLORIS, Camper and Superga and celebrate with drinks in-store at MÜHLE and TOAST. The Swatch store is transformed by 3D painter Joe Hill in the theme of their ‘How Majestic’ Jubilee collection. Head to in-store events throughout the weekend such as a live DJ at NICCE and an afternoon tea in Nobody’s Child.

Dine like royalty in one of Carnaby’s 70 restaurant options who are offering exclusive promotions across the weekend, such as a set menu at Shoryu, Jubilee specials at The Good Egg or a specially curated cocktail at Polpo.

Ugly Dumpling, Korean Dinner Party, Jinjuu, Señor Ceviche and Marsha are among other restaurants who are celebrating the Jubilee in Carnaby.

Enjoy drink offers at Cahoots, Stax Diner, Kua’ Aina and Nightjar or Jubilee themed cocktails in The Ganton Arms and Flare.
